Go Forth and Multiply

Copyright; Wally (The Bear) Finch
From his book 'A Fun Burnt Country'

Well the rains did come and the rains did go
'Twas recorded in the bible you know.
This was much more than a passing shower
That made old Noah Man of the Hour.

Now God told the old boy what he should do
About all the animals two by two.
When the rain stopped, it still can amaze
They floated on the flood for days and days.

Often wondering where they were at
Noah came to land at Mt Ararat.
Then he said with a wink of an eye,
"O.K. You lot, go forth and multiply!"

Keen to comply they knew what to do
The animals bolted still two by two.
Then Noah heard snakes cry by the ladders,
"We can't do that, 'cause we're only adders".
