Introduction

The 'Datsun 180 B' has become somewhat of an icon here in Oz.

No one can tell me why!!?

Datsun Awful Night

Now listen to my story, I swear to you it's true.
A tale of Fred and Janet, a couple that I knew
Who succumbed to love's emotions, let their carnal thoughts run free
While driving 'round one evening in Fred's old '180 B'.

Fred pulled up on a back road in a cloud of choking dust,
Where they fell on one another, keen to curb each other's lust.
But the confines of the Datsun didn't help Fred's 'moves' at all
When his belt hooked round the stick shift and the gear knob squashed his...knackers

His manhood concertina'd on the handbrake as he fell,
Eliciting an agonised and 'far up country' yell.
Meanwhile Jan had caught her bra strap on the seatbelt hook behind her,
The seat recliner snagged her sleeve, her jeans the window winder.

She struggled feebly for a while and thought herself a goose,
Until she heard Fred's awful scream and that's when Hell broke loose!!
The darkness hid Fred's antics well. Jan couldn't see his plight.
He'd mumbled, "Squashed me trouser snake". She thought he'd said, "Snakebite"!!!

In terror, she just panicked, thoughts filled with utter dread,
One foot went through the windscreen, one bounced off Frederick's head.
As she tore loose from her bindings to escape the serpent's wrath,
Elastic broke, seams gave way and all her clothes fell off.

Then, screaming like a banshee, now that she had been released,
Ran naked down that back road until stopped by the police.
Well, it sure took some explaining, though the constables agreed,
No charges laid....Fred's punishment, his own '180 B'.
