Flycaster Lore

For fly fishing, use tiny hooks,
because all flies have dainty mugs.
I've searched in all the fishing books,
which are most sparse on catching bugs.
Fly fishing's good, but not at night,
when starved chiggers eagerly wait.
Anglers all find, its them that bite,
and humans are convenient bait.
One special bug, I say is worst,
if insects are what you pursue.
Wood ticks are what I've always cursed,
since they're not caught, they first catch you.
