Introduction
It
was school holidays, and Mitchell was off to a play day which included
a slime fight ...
Sliiiiime
It
oozes up between your toes,
then dribbles slowly down your nose -
squishing, squelching through your hair,
This ghastly goo is everywhere!
Its
sliiiime .!
In
dreadful shades of gooey green,
It covers all where it has been.
Behind it lies a purple trail,
A glistening gluey gluggy tail ..
Live
Sliiime .!
Wobbly
ribbons of Violet red
Dangle from your arms and head!
Now it spreads across the mat -
Reaching, grasping, grabbing . Blat!
Foul
sliime .
But
finally it dies at last,
To hair and nose and feet stuck fast.
Disgusting orange-purple blobs
of witches warts and knobbly frogs.
Dead
slime .!
And
finally the day is done,
The slime has gone, but its been fun!
So now I think I'd rather be
The ordinary, slimeless me!
(For a while ..!)
