The Answers In Your Coffee

I've been to marriage guidance counsellors, I've had my tarot read,
Observed the books on love and sex, and done all what they said.
But nothing seemed to work for me, was left there on the shelf,
Depressed and sad and lonely, it was affecting my good health.

Until one day I asked a friend - who had come to visit me,
Would she like a piece of cake and how did she have her coffee?
Well her reply was a revelation a sign from deep within,
She said, "I always take it black and strong, just like all my men"

Why the answer's in your coffee, it was so clear to me,
With such a discovery I could change my destiny.
No wonder I'd had problems, trying to find a date,
For I preferred my coffee, instant weak and straight.

So I changed my coffee habits and tried it black and strong,
I drank it by the gallons, and everything went awful wrong.
Soon I started hanging out in all the coffee shops,
I smelt the different aromas and tried the whole darn lot.

There were long ones and short ones, black ones and white,
Hot steamy creamy ones to keep you up all night.
Coffee beans from Africa, Brazil and Spain,
But all this coffee searching was driving me insane,
With a million different coffee beans spinning in my brain.

I was just about to give up when I found my special brew,
A mug of love from him above, a drop that's true and blue.
So observe your coffee habits, it's worked wonders for me,
For now I'm quite contented drinking cups of Earl Grey Tea.
