Rainbow, please eat your tofu
and remember to chew it through
then you can have a special treat
a carob coated date to eat
but only one, for they are sweet
and you don't want to rot your teeth
C'mon rainbow, eat your tofu.

No we don't have a television Rainbow
they eat away your brain you know
they fill your mind with creatures that
have tv's in their tummies fat
and counting animals, men that wiggle and chat
and a bear in a suit and a oversized cat
no we don't have a television Rainbow

Rainbow, please don't call me Mum
I know it sound much homelier that Sun
but your father, Grass and I will claim
our equal rights with you the same
and request you use our chosen names
so please..... don't call me Mum

Rainbow, just learn to be yourself
a mind of your own, oh what I would give
to have my time over, in your shoes I'd live
in fairies and love and miracles I'd believe
but your father and I, well you'll learn to forgive
Rainbow, just be yourself
