Digit abuse is very common, these people will know what I'm on about..

Thumb Thucking

I love the feeling from sucking my thumb,
and rubbing its tip right round my gum.
I suck it until it's all wrinkled and white,
it really does look a marvelous sight.

Its a habit I've carried all of my life,
I suck it for comfort whenevers there's strife!
The security blanket on the end of my hand
The feeling it gives me, makes me feel grand.

Now that I'm older, I need an honest excuse,
for the years of indulgent digit abuse!
Now this is the truth, I tell you no lies!
My thumb thucking thumb has shrunk in size!

So now if you see my hand in my face,
I'm not feeling small, Don't feel no disgrace.
I'm just trying to make my thumb grow and swell,
so when they're together, no-one can tell!
