Introduction

One cold and rainy day, feeling gloomy because it wasn't fit to step out of the house, I decided to go for a walk in my mind instead. Enjoyed it so much that I go on many such excursions and recommend it to anyone who needs a little cheering up. It's easy - just sit back, relax, and start walking ...

Turvy Topsy

One fine summers day in mid winter
I set off for a walk at a run
At the bus stop a train was departing
so I boarded it just for fun

It had no conductor or driver
and moved at the speed of light
so I sat on my head on the ceiling
and laughed my feet off in fright

A bald man with hair stood on end
got off and sat right next to me
then the train took off from the runway
and flew through the deep blue sea

We passed a dog who meowed hello
and a cat barked a greeting too
The blue sky was red as we sailed through the clouds
and an old woman shot by in a shoe

The milky way was Mars Bar
and the man in the sun was quite mad
The moon burned a hole through the window
and Venus was grumpy and sad

The starship stopped as it hovered
and opened its door with a slam
I fell right in and got caught on a star
that twinkled like blackberry jam

I then let go as I held on tight
and the cow jumped over the moon
So I jumped on its front and hitched a lift
I'll be home in a long time soon
