Up Her Nose

Morwena's here! She's in our kitchen
havin' her tresses transformed
as she's off tomorrow to Harley Street
to have her nostrils reformed.

Hell's ears! She looks a bloody mess,
her phizog's black and blue
-due, apparently, to a git of a gibbon
at Bristol's much admired zoo.

The pernicious ape pushed its leathery digits
right up Morwena's nose
and she screamed the acorns off a nearby oak
as it lifted her up off her toes.

Yes, Morwena's here, she's in our kitchen
havin' her hair done by Mum
and the surgeon, she says, will put right her nose
by takin' some skin from her bum.
